  • DESCARGAR TS Marketplace: Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01

Take the throttle and battle tonnage and treacherous Tehachapi — with the ten action-packed and realistic career scenarios of Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01!

Treacherous Tehachapi! Spun over and through the daunting Tehachapi Mountains of California, the Tehachapi Pass route was constructed by the Southern Pacific, opened in 1876, and connects the arid Mojave Desert with California’s fertile San Joaquin Valley. In 1899, via a trackage rights arrangement, the legendary Santa Fe Railway (AT&SF) also began operations on the Tehachapi Pass line. In the 1990s, Southern Pacific merged into Union Pacific and Santa Fe merged with Burlington Northern to form BNSF and today the route is Union Pacific’s bustling Mojave Subdivision and is a heavy tonnage artery for both Union Pacific and BNSF.

From High Iron Simulations, Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01 features ten realistic and challenging career scenarios bringing to life two extraordinary eras of Tehachapi railroading, with five scenarios representing operations during the Southern Pacific/Santa Fe era of the 1980s-90s and five scenarios re-creating contemporary Union Pacific and BNSF railroading!

With Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01, you’ll tackle everything from hot intermodal trains to the heaviest trains ever to cross the Tehachapi Mountains – and you’ll climb aboard diesels as diverse as Santa Fe’s flashy “Warbonnet” GE Dash 8-40BWs, Southern Pacific’s rugged EMD SD45T-2s, and Union Pacific’s potent GE AC4400CWs. Among the experiences that await you in the ten career scenarios of Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01 are:

    • Highballing priority intermodals such as Santa Fe’s premier Train 991 and a Union Pacific hotshot I-5 corridor stack and piggyback train.
    • Dragging extraordinarily ponderous tonnage, including Southern Pacific’s fabled “Oil Cans,” Santa Fe coal, and BNSF ethanol consists over the 2.2 percent grades of Tehachapi. Many of these heavy trains feature locomotives on the point, placed mid-train, and on the rear!
    • Working locals such as Southern Pacific and Union Pacific trains handling cement traffic off the UP’s Oak Creek branch or originating at the massive Monolith cement plant.
    • Answering the call to work Union Pacific’s morning switch job at Mojave.

Known for creating authentic scenarios, High Iron Simulations and its Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01 deliver big-time, rugged, and demanding American western railroading at its best in ten scenarios closely based on actual operations and train symbols of the two eras.

Note: Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01 requires the Tehachapi Pass: Mojave – Bakersfield Route Add-On. Select scenarios also require the Montana Hi-Line: Shelby – Havre Route Add-On; Arizona Divide: Winslow – Williams Route Add-On; Southern Pacific SD45T-2 Loco Add-On; and Southern Pacific U33C Loco Add-On. Tehachapi Pass Scenario Pack 01 is available worldwide; due to licensing restrictions, Santa Fe (AT&SF) and BNSF markings will appear only on content distributed to U. S. customers.

Summer comes soonest in the South, so climb on-board and visit the Kent Coast with the sprawling and complete Chatham Main Line for Train Simulator!

The history of rail in South East London and Kent is enriched with competitive history. By the mid-1840s, the South Eastern Railway had built the main line from London to Dover via Redhill and Tonbridge. This vital but long-winded link to the major port town of Dover made the SER a key player in the movement of traffic throughout Kent, and this remained as such for the decades to follow.

Not satisfied with missing out on the Capital to Coast battle, and with a desire to link the well-populated North Kent to these key destinations, the East Kent Railway (which had already built Strood to Faversham by 1859), changed its name to the London, Chatham and Dover Railway. Then from 1860 until 1863, rails spread out east and west to form this new, shorter main line.

The LCDR soon had a complete rail network; stretching from London Victoria, via Herne Hill and Catford, through Bromley South and Swanley to Rochester and the Medway Towns. Beyond Faversham, the line split in two, with one sticking along the length of the Kent Coast via Whitstable and Herne Bay to the well-known seaside towns of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, all accelerated into holidaymaker fame with the arrival of the railway. The second line took a turn towards Canterbury, before tackling the rugged Kent Downs and arriving in Dover. The LCDR would also extend north towards Blackfriars via Elephant & Castle, and assume ownership of the Sheerness Line, which branches out from Sittingbourne to serve the Isle of Sheppy.

From that point on, the line was cemented in its importance, and things only got better with the Southern Railway’s radical electrification schemes. Vast improvements to stations and the fitting of third rail transformed the line throughout the earlier decades of the 20th Century, with fully electric services reaching Dover and Ramsgate by 1959. In more recent times, the East Kent re-signalling project has vastly improved the movement of trains, with most of the line’s signalling being managed in a central hub at Gillingham. Stations have also been upgraded, or rebuilt entirely, to support 12-car trains between the Kent Coast, Medway and the Capital.

Today, services are largely operated by Southeastern, stopping and semi-fast trains run regularly between London, Ramsgate and Dover, with high-speed services also running between Strood, Faversham and Ramsgate. Thameslink also make an appearance, running services along the Catford Loop towards Swanley, and from North Kent into Medway, terminating in Rainham’s new Platform 0.

In 2016, the original Chatham Main Line released for Train Simulator between London Victoria and Rainham, including the Catford Loop and Orpington, and this was supplemented with the Medway Valley Line extension in 2018. But now, you can finally experience the full Chatham Main Line in its entirety from London Victoria to Ramsgate and Dover via Faversham! The Sheerness Branch is also included, as is London Blackfriars, totalling over 130 miles of South East metals to explore. Also featuring are a plethora of Southeastern EMUs, including an all-new BR Class 465/9 for long-distance Networker action!

Discover the Garden of England and the Breezy Kent Coast with the Chatham Main Line: London Victoria & Blackfriars – Dover & Ramsgate route for Train Simulator!

You can also see 3D views of the past of some houses. There is also the option to play an audio about some houses and the Jan von Werth fountain on the Old Market. Two types of advertising pillars can also be placed on the Old Market. The version is a kind of technical demo to show what is possible and should be expanded in the future if possible.

The project development will be continuing. The areas and places in Cologne that can be viewed are to be enlarged and expanded.

There are two versions. Both for PC, one in 3D and one for virtual reality.

That version is not free of errors, the controls are not optimized and we do not guarantee that it will run.

Note: Both versions start in German language. The language of parts (like the Old Market) can be changed.
Please have a look on the short manual to see the controls, in German and English.
