Deep beneath the city – like an intricate maze – lies the old canal system, the area which – literally and figuratively – gathers all the filth around it. Most of the entrances and their surroundings were under the control of secret thief guilds, providing a great hiding place for its persecuted members and the possibility to store and transport contraband. The deeper parts of the sewers are in varying shape, some better, some entirely ruined. No one knows the tunnels’ whole system, but those who have spent a lot of time in it, whisper that there are dark secrets hidden in its depths.

Between the intertwined trees of the dark forest runs a narrow path bound on all sides by prickly, entangled bushes. The trail winds through a swamp of uncertain depth, giant cobwebs which span between trees and bushes, before finally ending at a tent camp. The place looks eerie and who knows what kind of creatures have choosen this place as their home.

At the end of the fjord between the mountains lies a small settlement, inhabited by brave warriors and sailors who do not shy away from the cold winds that dominate the area. The village consists of a few dozen houses; the highest point is the town hall, the deepest is the port. Between these two are the market, the gun shop, and most of the dwellings.

The valley, which stretches between huge mountains, is covered with dense tall grass that ripples in the wind like the sea. Its sheer monotony is often broken by a grove of cedar trees. Dusty dirt roads between the groves indicate where to go. In the middle of the valley there are two gigantic statue ruins, quietly waiting the end of time.

You’re a traveling bard that looks for the most dramatic things happening to sing about. As you search for your muse, you come across various women including an assassin, two knightess, a sorceress, and a bandit queen. Each have their own goals and dilemmas. You help them with their troubles and make songs about them. As a conflict arises that threatens the entire kingdom and possibly the world, you must team up with your new companions to fight against it.

You will have romantic and adult moments with each woman during your interaction with them, as you learn more about their personalities and history.

As a bard, you specialize not in combat but in casting a variety of spells to affect the enemy as well as your allies. In this turn-based strategy RPG in a similar vein to Fire Emblem, you will control a variety of units with different skills and perks to fight a wide variety of enemies from soldiers, knights, to demons and the undead. Using the terrain and tactics, you must lead your units to victory.

Stepping out of the narrow corridor, a huge hall welcomes you. Its ceiling is held high by 3-man-thick stone columns. The edges of the hall are lost on shadow, the middle is covered by the light of huge bonfires held by dwarf statues. The stone carvings could represent mighty heroes or gods. At the end of the hall stands another statue protecting the entrance to the more hidden parts of the dwarven empire.
