How to play

Move the topmost tableau cards to the waste pile, one at a time, as long as they are one up or one down in rank (suits do not matter). So, if your top waste card is a 7, for example, you may remove any 6s or 8s from the tableau.

In traditional Golf rules, aces are always low, and you may build A-2-A but not 2-A-K. You may not build up or down on a king at all. If you take a king from a tableau or deal one from the deck, simply deal another card from the deck and move along to the next tee. You may play through the stock pile only once.

Winning

The goal is to clear away the entire tableau, moving all cards to a single waste pile. At the end of the game, count how many cards are left in the tableau; this is your score — the lower the score, the better.

Common variations on these rules include:

• Queens may be played on top of Kings.

A. Block:
Remove Blocks by clicking the Left Mouse button. It can be empty inside, contain a Beacon, or a Mine.

B. Mine:
Mine mode: If you hit a Mine it’s Game Over.
Sweep mode: Right Mouse click to remove the Mine. When all Mines are cleared you’ve won.

C. Beacon:
Tells if there are adjacent Mines. Pay attention to all directions including diagonally.
The number and color will indicate how many adjacent Mines there are.

D. Marker:
Set a Marker with the Right Mouse button if you are suspecting a Mine there. Any numbers of Markers is allowed.

E. Shield:
A Shield is awarded once a day, but you can have no more than 10 in total. Only one shield can be used per match. The Shield will prevent you from hitting a Mine.

Amnesiac Adventurer is a puzzle game with a twist: everything happens backwards! “Unsolve” the puzzles and retrace your steps to restore the level back to how it originally was!

Was a chest already looted, or a button already pressed? Perhaps an enemy had already been killed, or a trap already triggered? Don’t leave any room for doubt! Everything you do and don’t has repercussions down the line!


– 25 hand crafted levels to start with more to come!
– This game is mostly played backwards! Instead of solving puzzles normally, you are “un-doing” them!
– The narrative choices in this game are 100% action based. Your actions determine the outcome of the story, not your dialogue choices.
– Failing to solve the puzzle will affect the outcome/ending of the game.
– Not completing a level properly doesn’t result in a game over, but rather, changes the narrative to fit the outcome.

We took a week off between the launch of Dying Flame, and then starting work on Amnesiac Adventurer. To be honest, we got bored and Amnesiac Adventurer started with an absurd proposition: Can we make a reverse puzzle game.

Turns out, you can make one, as long as you don’t doubt yourself, and the creative process. Let’s just say we have spent too many nights awake testing puzzles and solving them until we didn’t know if we were coming-backwards or forward-going.

We have no doubts that we’re going to keep you awake at night, with both puzzle solving and a story with diverse endings depending on how you unsolve the levels.

Sumy Shelltris – ICEBLOCKS, was a game created from the following question: what if in the Tetris game, instead of ready-made pieces, the player had to assemble them? With an aggravating factor, the number of cubes arranged, would be drawn!
