Lily – Admiral

Seraph – Warrior

Seraph is a Great Warrior of the Atlantis Empire. Born and raised in Atlantis, from a young age she was raised to become a warrior to serve the ambitions of the Atlantis Empire. Thanks to her, the Atlantis Empire won many important victories and easily invaded other Small Kingdoms. However, the invasion of other kingdoms of the Atlantis Empire made the Gods angry and plunged the entire Atlantis Empire into the Deep Sea. She was plunged into the Depths of the Abyss, a place covered with Darkness and with no concept of the Existence of Light. All around her were ferocious and hungry Deep Sea Monsters that were preparing to eat her at any moment. However, she fought bravely and defeated the most ferocious monsters. Admiring the bravery of Seraph, the fiercest monster of the Deep Sea, Kraken Oceanos, surrendered and promised to defeat Poseidon with her because he was also an enemy of Kraken Oceanos.

Geneva – Mermaid

Geneva is an innocent and gentle Mermaid. She loves peace and enjoys making friends with everyone. Her friends in the Deep Sea love her very much and are ready to help her whenever she needs it. However, the peace in the Deep Sea did not last long when Poseidon appeared. Poseidon tempts all the other Mermaids to serve his legion in exchange for strength and power. Misty – Archmage

Misty is a Great Mage of the Atlantis Empire. Witness her Great Empire being completely sunk into the Abyss from an early age. She was determined to learn from the oldest books with the desire to find a way to bring her Atlantis back to its former glory. And then one day, she discovered a prophecy from a dying mermaid that one day a hero from the mainland would appear and rescue everyone in Atlantis from this Abyss. However, meeting that Chosen One was not easy because Poseidon waged a war for thousands of years to massacre all the people of the Atlantis Empire. However, after seven thousand years of waiting and fighting, Lily finally appeared, the Chosen One she had been looking for all this time. In order to defeat Poseidon and bring peace to the Atlantis Empire, she accompanies Lily to work together to make miracles.

GAME AND CINEMATIC INFLUENCES

Gloomy Juncture was born from a blend of personal experiences and love for psychological thrillers with a desire to explore complex human themes. As a ’90s kid from a challenging background, I’ve always been drawn to gritty, dystopian settings and flawed characters.

This is a deeply personal project, with a lot of myself exposed in an exaggerated and pulp dressing and an atmosphere that embodies a dark expression of fatalism and hopelessness, the overall setting is inspired by neo-noir films and psychological dramas such as Hitchcock’s Vertigo, Park’s Oldboy and Scorsese’s Taxi Driver. For the visuals and pacing of the story, I’ve drawn a lot from movies like Argento’s Suspiria, Lynch’s Blue Velvet and Aronofsky’s Requiem for a Dream.

The setting may sound nihilistic but, at its core, Gloomy Juncture leans into common issues and I’m trying to explore themes of mental health, obsession, violence, guilt and human struggles.

For gameplay, I want to recreate the experience of getting lost in a classic graphic adventure yearning to see “what’s next”. Games like Grim Fandango and Broken Sword were key inspirations for the core mechanics, while titles such as Tomb Raider (1996) and Hotel Dusk: Room 215 influenced the puzzle-solving. The gritty, noir atmosphere, on the other hand, is inspired from games like Max Payne and The Wolf Among Us.

Setting the game in the ’90s felt natural, aligning both with the classic adventure gameplay I’m evoking and the visual style inspired by early 3D and N64-era. By hand-drawing the world on paper, Gloomy Juncture creates a distinctive aesthetic that’s both nostalgic and fresh, resulting in a unique visual experience.

PULL LEVERS, PUSH BUTTONS, AND SOLVE ENVIRONMENTAL ENIGMAS

The core gameplay revolves around gathering items, interacting with the environment, and solving increasingly complex puzzles that evolve in scale and complexity as the narrative progresses.

Gloomy Juncture features a variety of unique puzzle types:

There’s no repetition in puzzle design; each one is unique, keeping you engaged and challenged throughout your journey. Creatively use items to distract and confuse NPCs, or uncover alternative solutions to puzzles with hidden items scattered throughout the world.

The player character will also react to your actions in real-time; this ‘noirish’ dynamic narration enriches the experience and provides minimal diegetic tips—your only help for the journey.

Shinogi Chess Club is a hybrid-genre experience that combines Visual Novel storytelling with free-roaming 3D exploration and a playable strategy game! Uncover the secrets of Yoshino High School, compete against various AI opponents in the Spring Championships, and join the Shinogi Chess Club!



In the far future, the world has been plunged into an economic depression. One prefecture in Japan has managed to stay afloat by investing in a new board game variant called Shinogi Chess. Companies, governments, and institutions have all shifted their focus towards getting their best representatives to play for public amusement.


Yoshino High School is one such institution. Their Shinogi Chess Club is on the verge of being able to compete in the Spring Championships, an annual competition bringing fame and fortune to the city’s best players.

In the midst of this huge event, an upcoming competitor, Himiko Masaki, attempts to improve her skill in the game in order to chase down leads and stop a dangerous organization that’s threatening the school. But when she acquires a mysterious supernatural ability, her sense of self is put to the test. With the help of the Shinogi Chess Club members, Himiko must navigate these challenges and discover just how far she is willing to go for the truth!

Auto Dungeon Monsters is a 2D Auto-battler with roguelite elements. Battle using monsters you acquire throughout the dungeon and level them up by sacrificing them to their own kind. Reach the end of the dungeon and defeat the boss to receive treasures to use in future delves.

You have gained the ability to link your soul to that of a monsters, enabling you to bend its will to your own, and have set your eyes toward the treasures hidden within the ancient dungeons of Gavaria.
