Dan es un aventurero novato que lo arriesga todo para resolver la leyenda de los libros gemelos explorando la ciudad abandonada de Red Pines.

La leyenda cuenta que un talentoso artista replicó el Libro de los Espíritus, y la réplica era tan perfecta que el personal del museo dejó por error el original durante la evacuación de Pinos Rojos. Tras conocer la leyenda, Dan decide comprobar si es cierta, y recuperar el libro en caso de que lo sea.

Acompaña a Dan en esta misión desenfadada y familiar y ayuda a que prospere su amor por la aventura.

A New Story Every Playthrough

Procedurally-deployed hand-crafted quests along with reactive environments lead to a level emergent gameplay unlike any other, and ensures every playthrough is different. Your decisions affect the fate of the Northlands. Choose your squad, choose your skills, choose your allies.

Make friends or enemies of the locals. Delve in dungeons and discover ancient artefacts. Fight tooth, nail and claw against the mighty beast of the wilds. Commune with the spirits and abide by their ways when traversing their realms. Or tackle indomitable constructs and collect their weird technology.

Each element is taken into account and will shape not just your characters but the Northlands. The smallest decision can rally a faction to come to your aid, or seek your destruction. So be careful where you swing that blade, toss that fireball, or lay a kind word. How you live will determine how you die in Edge of War.

Explore Finnish Folklore

Your squad is tasked with exploring a region that has seen the corruption of a Compelled God, bears the scars of a warlord, and is marked by histories and peoples long forgotten. And yet, somehow people still eek out an existence amidst all these dangers. The Free Folk and the Barbarian Tribes call it home, as do the many spirits – all of them just waiting for a reason to kill you.

Vaeki infuses every stone, every tree, every stream. It gives rise to life, it is present in death, and it is a gift of the gods. Ukko reigns above, Tuoni below. Their brethren are scattered. Yet all ignore you and your prayers. Such is the way of the North.

Fort Turso is your home, your hub for adventures. From here you can journey to the borders of Pohjola or seek the river to Tuonela. Perhaps you will follow in the footsteps of Tapio or heap praise and prayers upon a shrine to Vetehain. Wherever you go Hiisi and other horrors are never far away.

A brief introduction

The story is set in the Cold War of the 1980s, in which humanity was blindly drawn into the Cold War without realizing that this insane endeavor was causing a shortage of resources. Until it came to a near standstill.

Corporations took control of the action and found new ways to supply the world with necessities. The Cold War became more and more a corporate struggle. Over time, one company proved particularly successful.

Helium Electric had found a way to mine helium on the moon and convert it to electricity on Earth. Earth’s future seemed assured, but at a very high price….

Content

Helium Electric is a hard strategy game in which the player finds himself alone in a Moon station and has the mission to extract helium.
The goal is to achieve the highest possible helium mining rate and you are free to decide how to manage the station.

Depending on the amount of helium extracted, you get a daily payment to support your family and friends on Earth.
If you don’t, your relatives will suffer, your stress level will increase, and your mental health will decrease.

Once the player has reached a total helium mining amount of 25 tons, the contract with the Helium Electric corporation has been fulfilled and you can count on a position in the corporation if you perform well.

However, in order to achieve this goal, the player’s physical and mental health must be kept in mind. You are alone in the station and no one can help you.

Gameplay

The technology at your command is the latest from 1986.
The game is controlled with the dashboard by either entering commands with the mouse or keyboard. Several unmanned vehicles are coordinated and you only have a certain amount of time per day before the daily dose of radioactive radiation becomes too high.

There are:

• 6 harvesters – Extraction of raw helium from Moon dust
  
• 1 drone – Scan helium concentration, vehicles and the station
  
• 1 recovery vehicle – Tow surface vehicles in the event of a failure
  
• 2 satellites – Scan Moon surface and vehicle movement

After a work day you have the possibility to retreat to a recovery room below the lunar surface. Furthermore there is a communication system at your command. Of course all extra expenses will be charged.

It is up to you to complete the mission successfully.

Amane is a fairly ordinary woman living in one of the biggest cities in Japan, which has been getting more dangerous by the day. People have been disappearing, especially young women, and before she knows it, she discovers the reason: dangerous monsters called monstrums have been kidnapping them!

The monstrums attack her one night on her way home, and just as she’s about to meet her end, her book begins speaking to her, offering her the ultimate contract: become a magical warrior and fight the monstrums.

With her newfound powers, she can investigate monstrum appearances all throughout the city and stop them from taking over the world for good!


With each passing day, the enemy’s domination of the city increases. Amane can spend her time with her friends, working, and raising her stats through training, but she can’t waste too much time.

When the enemy forces grow too strong, be sure to hunt down monstrums, complete optional quests, and progress the main story to keep them at bay!

Failing to stop the enemies’ conquest will unlock new endings. Don’t worry if it’s too difficult to fend off all the monstrums on your first playthrough. With New Game+, you can start all over again while retaining your levels and knowledge.






A Bustling City to Explore
Amane’s hometown of Echinomiya is full of businesses, people, and activities. New areas and individuals will unlock over time, so there’s always something to do.

In-game Achievement System
Perform certain tasks to gain titles, which grant Amane special skills that allow you to see new scenes!

Outfits Galore
Finish side quests and go to clothing stores to gather all sorts of new costumes for Amane to wear!

Battle Dangerous Monsters
By equipping various memory engrams, Amane will gain all sorts of skills that allow her to better fight enemies in turn-based battles. By equipping the right combinations, it’s possible to make short work of any enemy.

Collect cards in your hand and use them to complete quests and defeat enemies.

In Card Tales you can use cards to get an unexpected result. Apply your logic, experiment with new decisions.
The story is branched, there is a simplified “legacy” mechanics, your actions affect this game and the following games.

STORY

With more than 100 collectibles and many enemies crawling in the shadows, the experience of Book Hunter waves from adventure to stealth, from strategy to horror, but never abuses violence or fear as primary mechanics.

ArgentoBOT units are mechanical scouts which objective is to travel across the universe and collect relics of the ancient human civilization. As they are unarmed, they have to use what they find on the spot to explore the ruins and collecting the survived artworks: books are the most important objects, but even paintings and music are of deep archeological interest.

The player can choose between confronting directly with the enemies or studying their behavior to bypass them. The main objective is to collect the 30 books scattered in the map. All the secondary collectibles belongs to the Public Domain as one of the major purpose of Book Hunter is the transmission of freedom-culture in addition to entertaining. Books in the game are provided as a promotional service for the Italian publisher Argentodorato Editore.
