The game features a VHS-inspired visual style with a low-poly aesthetic reminiscent of PS1-era graphics. The environment is intentionally grainy and pixelated, with heavy use of lighting effects and CRT screen filters to evoke the feel of old analog video.

In this horror game, you play as a young woman returning from work. Running low on gas, you pull into a gas station, but there’s no gas to be found. Something feels off, and a sense of unease creeps in as you realize you might not be alone.

• Stay quiet and use the environment in your favor.

• Avoid the killer by hiding in lockers or in the vents.

• Look for supplies like meds and flashlight batteries.

• Solve the puzzles to advance in the game.

• Find places to save the game.

• Lock the doors if you don’t want to get chopped.

Welcome to a minimalist top-down shooter where you start with a variety of abilities at your disposal. Use your controller’s buttons to unleash these powers and take on the challenge! The game features multiple enemy types, each with unique behaviors. Defeating different kinds of enemies will allow you to upgrade your abilities, enhancing your game play experience.

With a total of ten levels, the game progressively increases in difficulty, introducing tougher enemies and new types as you advance. If you’re looking for more levels or a boss battle, feel free to reach out via email. If there’s enough interest, I’ll consider creating additional content for everyone to enjoy!

Vengeance Hunters is not just any other 90’s era beat’em’up! It’s a game that was developed to play on the legendary Neo-Geo MVS arcade and AES home console hardware but was designed for a newer era of beat’em’up action enthusiasts. Please enjoy fighting a vast array of enemies across multiple stages, sublevels and hidden areas while searching for collectibles and other items that will help you along the way!

GAMEPLAY

Vengeance Hunters allows players to be expressive with their playing style. We have created a combat system that allows both novice/younger players to have fun spamming a couple of buttons randomly and still get cool things to happen while also simultaneously including a lot of choice and depth for the specialists among you who really like to dig into mechanics.

Each character has common inputs and combo strings that are very generously timed to allow for anybody to pick a character up and play immediately. However, each character can play wildly different due to the inclusion of their unique Signature moves. Signature moves allows you to become a grappling and throwing specialist, an evasive cartwheeling aerial combat technician or a ranged missile firing combo monster.

VISUAL STYLE

Vengeance Hunters stars a cast of heroes and villains who are drawn in an early 90’s arcade style by some of the best artists in the industry. We went for a Saturday morning cartoon look that was fairly rare on the Neo-Geo during the era and the results are stunning!

New tracks from one of the industry’s best composers in Pentadrangle whose wizardry has made the Neo-Geo sound chip absolutely shine.

STORY & DIFFICULTY

Vengeance Hunters includes a branching story that changes slightly based on the difficulty you choose (there are three options). Dialogue also changes perspective depending on your character choice! You will face mutants, zombies, street thugs, gangsters, trenchcoat wearing mobile bomb enthusiasts, cyborgs, robots and maybe, just maybe, aliens 🙂

Nuckelavee is an abstract, indie horror game based on Scottish folklore, history and the Gaelic language. You must find ancient artifacts scattered across a procedurally generated island and remove the curse placed upon them.

Explore the island, find books, notes, music and artifacts left behind, they may help you in your task or tell you a story.

Solve the puzzle that locks in the curse. Do not allow them to be tainted again!

Evade! You may not have many weapons in your arsenal. Avoid Nuckelavee at all costs!

The game does not currently support saving progress, it is intended to be played as each play is a new run. This may change as player feedback indicate they want it. 

ASCENDING INFERNO is your ultimate goal in this gorgeous, challenging-but-fair 2.5D precision platformer with a ball.

Meet Dani: she is a goth.

Meet Vincent: he currently has no legs.

They’re a sibling duo that belongs in heaven… except they’re trapped in hell.

The game takes place after Vincent’s recent death, and unfortunately as fate would have it, Dani dies shortly after in an accident. She then awakens in the afterlife in which she finds the soul of her brother Vincent. During this reunion, Dani quickly discovers that they are trapped in Limbo and so the pair settle on the common goal of ASCENDING INFERNO.

Explore secret rooms to uncover the deeper story and relationship dramas surrounding these siblings.

Vincent cannot ASCEND INFERNO without you. Thank heavens he’s conveniently shaped like a soccer ball… with eyes. You’ll have to kick, header, juggle and jump your way out of Inferno. As you ascend, each layer of Inferno will fight to keep you down in mechanically unique ways, so make sure to stay on your toes!

Three words of advice: Don’t. Fall. Down. The smallest mistake can be costly, and Vincent won’t hesitate to berate you when you fail. What else is a younger brother for?

Does all that sound like to much? Well fear not weary traveler, we’ve just added a new game mode called Checkpoint Mode! 

This mode is designed for people who want to experience the wonders of Ascending Inferno, without the Foddian difficulty. Activate checkpoints as you ascend, doing so will make you reset to that point in your climb whenever you fall below it! No more falling back to limbo for the 50th time (Maybe).

Hellishly Beautiful, each layer of Inferno is meticulously handcrafted in a stunning voxel and pixel art-style with a modern twist:

• Limbo is a forgotten, rundown castle.

• Lust is a modern, grungy nightclub.
