Intro

“Galactic Defense: Automation” is a Placement, Automated Battle, Real-Time Strategy game. Players can place construction plans, observe automated construction, automated battles, and unlock new technologies. Players pass the level after collecting tech points through activities.

Massive Battles with Minimal Controls

The game features an astonishing number of units on the screen, with nearly 100 units initially and up to 500 units in the later stages. Players only need to make a few clicks. They simply need to place construction plans, and the game’s AI takes care of the rest. The game also offers a pause and resume function, allowing players to give orders to units while paused.

Galactic Defense: Automation

In this game, you take on the role of a commander on the galactic frontier defense line, under human rule. Your task is to command and organize the development and expansion of military and civilian activities. Meanwhile, the indigenous alien species in the universe, known as the “Cleansers,” stand in opposition to humanity. For them, human expansion is a threat to the universe, a pollution of the cosmos. Therefore, they have decided to eliminate humanity and protect the universe.

Players primarily strengthen themselves by collecting resources, planning construction, building and producing, and recycling resources. The “Cleansers,” on the other hand, follow a completely different logic. They are wary of humans but gradually test and slowly harass them until they are provoked!

Each game session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Ecological Cycle

All units in the game have their own production, development, death, and recycling cycles, which occur automatically without player intervention.

Full Automation Mode

After completing the game, you can try the “Full Automation Mode.” In this mode, players load a previous completed save file, and all the previous construction plans from the previous game are reproduced at specific time intervals. This means players can complete the game without any further actions or interventions.

Core Gameplay

• Players need to destroy all enemy bases to achieve victory.
  
• Periodically, waves of attacking enemies will emerge from the enemy bases.
  
• By withstanding enemy attacks, destroying key enemy facilities, and eradicating their main stronghold, players earn “Merit” points.
  
• Use “Merit” points to plan and construct projects.

The four players in Greenland represent the Tunit (Player Green), Norse (Player Red), Sea Sámi (Player Blue), and Thule (Player Yellow) tribes inhabiting Greenland from the 11th to the 15th centuries.

Play solo against AI, with others locally or against other players online. Also included in this digital version of Greenland is a introductory tutorial to the game which will make it easier to learn board game. Useful both for playing the app and for when you want to play the physical version of the game.

In this thematic game you as a tribe, attempt to secure food, resources, and technology to increase the size of your tribe and support children, elders, and livestock while also wiping out competing species or gathering resources to collect victory points. You must work around the weather and the extinction of natural resources as well as negotiate deals to protect your wives while you decide between monotheism or polytheism. In this tableau-building game, you’ll send your population out to hunt native species of Greenland and even explore the North American coast lands — but some might not come back. (Historically, the climate turned frigid and all but the Thule (Inuit) died out.)

In the game, play takes place over six phases; all players complete each phase in turn order, then the next phase starts. Each turn is one generation. The game ends after 10 turns.

GREENLAND SEQUENCE OF PLAY

Resolve events: Reveal an Event Card to begin the turn. Examples include elder deaths, animal migrations, feuds, or global cooling. If a trade ship arrives, an auction is held for its wares.
Assign hunters: Hunters are assigned to hunting grounds, resource gathering, colonizing the New World, raiding other tribes for wives or animals, or promotion to an elder.
Negotiate: Players can bribe others to peacefully withdraw hunters, including marrying them to their daughters. Players with a War Chief Elder can use hunters to attack others on the same card. The New World turns hostile if there are too many colonists.
Resolve hunting: Each hunter provide a die-roll modified by technologies and marriage advantages. Success can result in gaining new hunters, resources, hand cards, wives, and/or technologies. Beware, as some animals can be confused by the prey-predator relationship and your hunters might not return. Some successes let your take cards from the central play area into your hand if within hand limit.
Maintain livestock: Pay to keep the animals you’ve already domesticated.
Take elder actions: Examples include invention, domestication, proselytization, and witch-burning. If you have no elders, you can convert to monotheism.
Depending on each player’s ending theistic worldview, he has a variable scoring based on successful hunts (polytheism) or resource gathering (monotheism). Most points in the end wins.

Хозяйка квартиры забыла предупредить, что у Андрея будут соседи, сожительствующие с ним в одной квартире. Предупредила только после въезда, оставив записку, где говорилось, чтобы вел себя тихо и не шумел, и не заходил куда не надо. 

В центре сюжета — квартира, где происходит основное действие игры. Здесь Андрей встречает странных соседей, которые жили в этой квартире до него. Пробуждаясь посреди ночи, Андрей наблюдает за соседями, исследуя запертые комнаты и изучая оставленные ими записи. Вот так и получилось, что он застрял в этой квартире, которая раньше казалась дешёвым жильём в старом советском доме.

You will develop competency in all four theaters if you mean to come out of the Cold War alive. 

Economic strategy

Kiloton has an atypical approach to resource management: you don’t manage ‘money,’ you manage cities. Your cities grow or shrink over time depending on your economy’s strength. Your economic strength is a function of your population against your spending.

“Population” is not an abstract number: your population live in destructible pixel-based cities on the map. You may capture (or destroy) enemy population centers to stop your enemies from waging war. 

Research and Development

You will guide your nation’s research focuses as you see fit. There are four research disciplines, each with five progress tiers.

• Ground-combat

• Air Defense

• Aircraft

• Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles

At each tier of progress, the related assets will increase in a specific strength; range, damage, health, speed, etc.

Will you invest in missile defense, and protect your cities? Will you invest in the strength of your army, to capture enemy cities? Or will you build only missile silos, and hope that no enemy will be foolish enough to make you use them?
