While awakened, characters not only undergo a visual transformation but also experience increased attack power and speed, allowing them to unleash devastating combos on enemies in overwhelmingly advantageous situations!
Additionally, while in the Awakening state, breaking objects in the field, such as breakable obstacles, restores the Boost Gauge. This enables players to extend the duration of their awakened state through efficient combat tactics.

＜Dual Arts＞

Dual Arts are high-level orbment-based magic that combine two different elements from the seven attributes: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Time, Space, and Mirage.
Although Dual Arts consume a large amount of EP (Energy Points), they possess far greater power than standard orbment arts.

■Field Battles
By pressing the corresponding button when the dedicated gauge in the bottom right of the screen is filled, Z.O.C. activates. While active, enemy speed decreases significantly, allowing players to attack unilaterally on the field.
Additionally, during Z.O.C., not only does the player’s attack power increase dramatically, but inflicted stun damage also rises, making it easier to stun even high-defense enemies.

■Command Battles
In command battles, activating the S (Shard) Boost twice to reach full boost enables Z.O.C.. Once activated, the targeted character can perform consecutive actions and maintain the boost state for an additional turn compared to usual.

[Grim Garten]

Form a party from the available battle members and take on each domain of the castle to reclaim the virtual space seized by the mysterious society known as Ouroboros!
In each domain, your members are represented as avatars on a board (stage). Progress by moving the avatars forward on the grid each turn. Defeating the Guardians located at the deepest points of the domains unlocks new areas to explore and grants access to various services usable within the virtual space.
As you advance, members of different factions will gain access to the Grim Garten, triggering conversation events between characters from various organizations and alliances.

In the Grim Garten, you may acquire special orbs called Memento Orbs. These orbs contain records of past events that occurred on the continent of Zemuria. By placing the orbs on the Pedestal of Remembrance, you can view their contents.
The information stored in the Memento Orbs includes pivotal moments in the lives of key characters and reveals truths about Zemuria’s history. Every piece of content within the orbs holds critical details that tie into the overarching narrative of the Kiseki series.

Mercenaries Lament is a tactical simulation RPG set in a fantasy world.
Battles occur on quarter-view maps with height differences, where character positioning in the front, back, and side of enemy units may very well determine each battle’s outcome.
Support effects depend on where allied characters in your party are positioned, allowing players to enjoy highly strategic maneuvers. Players have a high degree of freedom in character development, such as acquiring and strengthening skills and changing classes by using skill points earned in battle.

・Advent Soul
When Amalie, the heroine is in your party, you can fill a gauge on the top right of the screen which will allow you to stock 1 BP when full.

By using BP characters can enter a state called “Advent Soul” which fortifies the character for a certain period of time.
The character can then use “Advent attacks” with other party members and “Soul Exceed” skills, which are special moves.


・Advent attacks
When a character in “Advent mode” is positioned to sandwich an enemy with another ally, a coordinated attack can be unleashed by performing a normal attack or attack skill.
The Advent attacks are unique skills for each character and provide a chance to inflict heavy damage.


・Soul Exceed skills
Units in Advent mode can use Soul Exceed skills at any time.
This special move is unique to each character, and effects vary from inflicting immense damage to the enemy to recovering HP and abnormalities of all allies.

Puzzles

Restoration Puzzles are a mission exclusive to the Restorer. By clearing the puzzle, the fragmentation of the land is then eliminated, restoring the land to its former state.

“Map-Crafting”

If the land has not been afflicted with fragmentation, it can be developed to have farmland, buildings, and other facilities so you can harvest crops and various resources. As you develop the land, more resources can be obtained and even stores can be accessed. Once a certain number of facilities have been established and the area is enclosed by fences, walls, or gates, it will become a village or town and you can give it a unique name.

Battle

A variety of monsters may appear in the land you explore. They can harm or damage the land they occupy, so be sure to take care of them with the help of your teammates. When battle commences, your teammates will attack automatically. Your role as the Restorer will be to grant Mana to them throughout the battles duration. Through granting them Mana, the skill sets in their weapons will be charged, eventually allowing them to perform an extra powerful attack.

Story
