• Permadeath: If you die, you stay dead. As in the original, there’s no meta-progression, you’ll re-start from scratch each time.

Luster Beasts is a tactical JRPG creature collection game. In Luster Beasts the player will be given complete control over their party. Tales From Atruian is a short Turn-based RPG loosely inspired by Dungeons and Dragons mechanics.
Control a team of six goofy characters, and fight your way through teams of enemies and save Atruian from evil forces, while having a good laugh. The story does not take itself seriously and aims to make fun of the DnD and RPG genres.

The war between The Cyrene League and The Barcanid Empire has been raging on for some time now, and the tension has reached a breaking point. Recently, The Barcanid Empire hired the talents of the evil duo: The Chronomancer who has the power to control time, and The Black Knight who can defeat entire troops with one blow.

In order to combat the Barcanids, The Cyrene League has procured our heroes to even the odds. With our new heroes at the helm, The Cyrene League comes up with a plan to end the war once and for all, in one final battle in The Cleaved Fields.


The game is a short RPG that loosely mimics Dungeons & Dragons mechanics, where you choose your leader of a 6 character party, each with their own unique ending. Levels are not gained through battle experience, but only by completing certain events in the story. The story does not take itself seriously and often throws in quirky jokes and charm.

Players can visit villages on the world map to recruit soldiers and engage in battles against enemy armies in the field.

Players directly participate in 3D battles and can simultaneously control over a hundred allied soldiers.

I Hate You, Please Suffer is an RPG set in a world where becoming an adventurer is a common career choice, where a woman tries to get by and find happiness regardless of how screwed up the world can be. Make money and find success in any way you can: from larger scale quests with loose continuity with each other and the surrounding world, to hunting down assorted weirdos for bounties, to catching fish.

How will I learn?

Mild Immersion

Our frustration with other Japanese learning games is that while they teach hiragana and words, they rarely (if ever) use these learnings in actual conversations. Almost everything is out of context. A random character, word, or sentence here or there. On the other hand, trying to learn Japanese by watching anime or reading manga is overwhelming (for a beginner).

We try to strike a balance between these two worlds. This game strives for “Mild Immersion.” We want to immerse you in Japanese as much as possible, but only beginner Japanese. We want you to feel confident that any Japanese that comes your way is something you’ve been taught and are capable of understanding at a basic level.

Small Step Immersion

This game also strives for “Small Step Immersion.” We want to immerse you in Japanese one small step at a time. After learning a new hiragana, you will soon learn words spelled with that hiragana and immediately start seeing and hearing those words in dialogue and battle. Slowly, but surely, your vocabulary and reading ability will grow as the game gently immerses you, more and more.

We believe context, immersion, and fun are key to effective learning. This game isn’t just an RPG with Japanese flashcard-type battles. It is much more.

The Adaptive Dialogue System and how it helps you learn

The Adaptive Dialogue System helps you learn by doing. It determines whether to show dialogue in Japanese or English based on your current knowledge. The more Japanese words and grammar you learn, the more dialogue will appear in Japanese!

For example, consider the following sentence: “doko iku?” (Where are we going?)

If you don’t know one of the words “doko” (where) or “iku” (go, going), then this sentence will be shown in English. This is to avoid frustrating you with content you haven’t yet learned.

However, if you know both words, it will be written in Japanese hiragana.

Pressing a button displays the “roumaji” of the sentence. Roumaji uses the English alphabet to describe Japanese sounds. A second press displays the English translation.

PHANTASIE I:

When sorcery ruled, and trolls and minotaurs still walked this Earth, a party of six intrepid adventurers set out to find the Nine Rings and use them to destroy the Dark Lord. This is your quest. This is your… Phantasie.

A multiple-character role-playing game, PHANTASIE transports you to the medieval isle of Gelnor for the adventure of your dreams. You command a group of one to six characters with such roles as monk, priest, wizard, ranger, thief, or fighter. Your companions need not be human; they may be gnomes, elves, orcs, or lizardmen — just to name a few exotic races.
With this motley crew, you search the lands for the Nine Rings to help you wipe out the scourge of Gelnor — the Dark Lord and his evil minions. You’ll map out new terrain, explore maze-like dungeons, solve puzzles, learn spells, gain experience, and battle countless monsters. In every town you visit, you can recruit new members to replace lost or unneeded comrades.

Beautiful 90s color graphics and a spell-binding storyline suspend reality and launch you into our magical world. No computer-carrying adventurer will want to miss out on the glorious excitement and enchanting experience that is PHANTASIE.


PHANTASIE II:

For no reason other than to embellish his title, the Dark Lord Nickademus fashioned an evil orb. With it, he cast a curse on a beautiful island and enslaved its people. Now, six travelers brave his wrath to find and destroy his nefarious handiwork in… Phantasie II.

A NEW ADVENTURE BEGINS…

Your quest to remove the evil warlock’s curse will be no easy task since there are precious few clues. All you know is that locating the orb requires a danger-filled search of a vast wilderness and of dungeons, a trip to the Astral Plane and the Netherworld — wherever they are.

You command a band of one to six adventurers, each endowed with the skills of a monk, priest. wizard, ranger, thief, or fighter. You can recruit new members to replace unneeded or fallen comrades. During this quest, you’ll help your heroes gather treasure, solve puzzles, learn spells, and battle the Dark Lord’s countless hordes. With all these magical distractions and obstructions, don’t forget that finding the orb will do you no good. You’ll still have to find a way to destroy it!

IMPORTANT: Note that Phantasie II was never released for PC, and we had to use the Apple II emulator to make this game playable on Windows. Thus, when asked to “INSERT DUNGEON DISK AND PRESS A KEY” in Phantasie II, please ensure to press F5 to continue playing.

PHANTASIE III:The Wrath of Nikademus

The Final Confrontation Against The Dark Lord!

Phantasie III: The Wrath of Nikademus is a fantasy adventure game far greater in scope, complexity, and challenge in the world of Phantasie.

This time, the Dark Lord Nikademus has set his evil sights on conquering — not only an island — but the entire world! He must be stopped, and you’ve been chosen to undertake this difficult and dangerous quest. Assemble and guide a band of six brave souls (human and otherwise) to search for and destroy Nikademus. Your group will traverse an entire continent, battling the Dark Lord’s ugly hordes and exploring dungeons for clues that will ultimately lead you to Nikademus — and to the Final Confrontation.

Travel to the astral Planes of Light and Darkness where you will meet some of the most powerful beings that inhabit the Phantasie Universe — including the legendary Lord Wood. From these encounters, you hope to gain the knowledge and power with which to destroy the Dark Lord.

This pivotal game boasts a number of new and improved features. Bows and arrows and ever more potent spells have been added to the long list of weapons. During combat, you can move each character to the front, middle, or back of the party. You can also aim your spells at different ranks of the enemy. You determine which skills an individual character should improve on as he gains experience. Wounds are specified by body location and extent of injury.

You’ll enjoy the enhanced graphics display of characters and monsters, and the increased speed of play as you travel across the wilderness and dungeons.
