What’s Sequence?

Sequence is a dice-based poker game, multiplayer & competitive, inspired by the classics Generala/Yahtzee/Yacht/Yatzy (every area of the world has a name for the game!). Now, players from all over the world can compete to climb the ranks – will you become a Senior Master?

How on earth do you play this?

The aim of the game is to score more points than the opponent. There are 13 categories, and the player has a maximum of 13 turns in a game.

In each of the 13 turns of play, the player has up to a maximum of 3 dice rolls to complete a category. After the first and second rolls, you may set aside the useful dice and reroll the rest. After the second roll, you may re-roll any dice you have saved from the previous roll. After the third roll, you are forced to score in a category, whether you have completed it or not.

Ranked Multiplayer in a dice game?

Yes! Competitive mode uses the ELO rating system to evaluate player performance, mainly used in chess and other games of skill. As this is a game where chance is important, a luck factor has been added to the ELO score calculation, so that if you lose due to pure luck of the opponent, the two scores will not vary as much.

In addition, depending on your ELO score, you will get a rank or title.

A minimalist Tetris-inspired game where the purpose is to fill platforms by moving, rotating and dropping blocks. Once filled, the platform is scored and another one appears. 

If the piece does not fit, the player can drop them on top of existing blocks, or discard the piece completely by dropping it off the side. The game features three game modes:

Maximize your score before the time runs out by filling as many platforms as possible before the time runs out. Every new platform will grant more time and placing blocks will also grant the player more time. Destroying previously placed blocks will cost the player precious time but sometimes the time saved will be worth it.

Maximize your score before you run out of “boxes” (lives). Be accurate and plan ahead. Placing on top of previously placed blocks or dropping off to the side will cost you boxes.

A relaxing way to play where there is no loss condition, play for as long as you want.

The platforms and the pieces come in various shapes.

The game features recoloring options that lets the player customize colors as well as two different background options.
