EarthRoyale is a Map simulation Observer game where the game each turn / a few in game months time, chooses one of many events to edit the world map or add lore behind the countries of this future or historic world.
the base games include a bunch of customization to the start of the game, but the map without downloading scenarios is stuck to a modern day de facto map (each province in game is owned by who actually controls, with some exceptions to constantly changing stuff).

some of the ways you can customize the start of a game is by:

Paint your own map in the paintmode, or download others maps via the steam workshop!

Disable or enable any continent that you want.

Turn off normal countries, so only the cities or provinces you’ve turned on is in the game.

Make provinces, cultures or Easter eggs independent at start.

Edit the %edges of any event happening or choose one of the pre made modes of it.


Each turn one of many things can happen:

division: a random country gets divided by giving each province to the closest other country.

Annexation: A random country gets given to one of their bordering countries, or if it only got coastal borders, the closest country.

Shrink/Expand: A random country either takes over a few of the closest provinces to it or gives away up to 75 % of the countries provinces to each province closest other country.

Take coast / Islands: a country either takes the coast or islands of a neighboring country.

Partition: a big country with above 200 provinces gets split up in different ways by the words major powers (anyone above 50 provinces) where the major powers gets parts for themselves, some areas gains independence within it and the rest being divided between who’s closest

Colonization: A random country with coast takes over a random coastal province from another country but if there is any coastal provinces that are unclaimed, the game will prioritize it over all claimed coastal provinces.

Independence: Each Easter egg, province, culture, or previous country tag of any province within a random country has a chance of having all provinces with that tag within the country gain independence.

Nuke: A random province is selected and all provinces around it within 3 different sized circles will be turned into Wasteland, Unclaimed, Fire. in that order from smallest to biggest circle.

Collapse: All provinces within a random country will be turned into unclaimed, but there’s a chance that multiple province, culture or previous country tags within the country gain independence

Union: 2 countries will join together into a new country named “country1 – country2”, a union can form a union with another union or normal country.

Culture union: 3 or more countries that share a similar culture goes together to form a union with a special unique name

Split: a country will either split into north and south country or west and east country, or if it’s a union, it will make all member states independence as they where when joining the union and all provinces that wasn’t a part of a member state will be divided between the former member states based on who is closest

Flood: A random province will be turned into flooded or water, it will also make 1 to 2 closest provinces do the same over and over again for up to 15 provinces.

Fire: a random province will have a fire start in it.

Hurricane: a hurricane is spawned a long a coast and moves randomly around, destroying all provinces in its path

There is also multiple types of provinces.

Normal/Claimed: a province that is owned by a country. it will have the country it belongs to’s color which is a random color generated when the country was made by the game. it’s also the only type of province effected by the events.

UnClaimed: a province that is not owned by any country, it’s a light brown color and if one of the 3 closest provinces is claimed it will have a chance to be claimed by that country each turn.

Wasteland: a province that is not owned by any country and is not claimable, it’s a darker brown color and if it’s generated by the game and not made by the map editor, it will turn into unclaimed after a few turns

Flooded: A province that is created by the flood event. it is colored the same as the ocean, a darker blue and it will each turn loose it’s flood level, the further away from where the flood started the lower flood level it starts with, when it hits 0 it will turn into unclaimed.

Fire: A province that is created by the fire event. it is colored a orange color and each turn moves to another province and lose some strength, or splits into 2 provinces with only half it’s strength. when the strength hits 0, it will die of, each province the fire leaves will be turned into unclaimed.

None: A province that just doesn’t exist, it’s created if you disable a continent before starting a game.

Dokkalfheim Magical University is a turn based battle game in development using RPG Maker MV. The player builds teams of three witches out of a small selection of students and professors at the university as they protect the vulnerable world from the undead of fallen civilizations.

Each witch has two basic spells and an ultimate spell which needs to be charged. The witches are categorized as:

Red Witches, whose spells target enemies

Blue Witches, whose spells target allies

Purple Witches, who have a mix of “red” and “blue” spells.

Miniatures is a cozy puzzle game where you start a journey in the world of a bookworm girl. In this journey, you’re tasked with solving puzzles of miniature-style illustrations to create cities by fitting blocks, making paths by aligning roads & rivers and reanimating landmarks by matching pieces.

Within this 2D journey, players are invited for a travel like sight-seeings which is the essence of the book the game inspired by. Miniatures game is inspired by the works of an Ottoman statesman “Matrakçı Nasuh”. In his book called “Beyân-ı Menâzil-i Sefer-i Irâkeyn”, he includes lovely miniature style paintings of the places that the imperial army passed by, stopped at or visited for various reasons.

Something strange is going on around town. People are starting to disappear, and others are acting strange, with no memory of those who’ve gone missing. Hinata Yuzuzaka takes it upon herself to investigate the disappearances and find the truth behind the bizarre occurrences! But as she investigates around town, she falls prey to a mysterious phone application that has been wiping her memories! She would wake up, realizing that time has sped past, and she would have no recollection of what happened. Accompany Hinata on her mission to stop whatever is behind this malicious application and the hypnosis that is dominating her world!

Over the span of 100 days, follow Hinata as she explores the town and meets the townsfolk. You’ll find missions to complete while you train to improve your stats. Don’t forget to rest, though! Uncover the mysteries of the academy and find the truth behind the application that has taken over the minds of this small town. The truth is never as simple as it seems…

As you progress, Hinata will be able to explore various places and trigger events that will deepen your understanding of her world and the mysterious goings-on involving the hypnosis application.

“A long time ago, the kingdom of Johrotos was ruled by a powerful king. While he may have appeared to be a good king, many who worked directly under him knew the truth: that he sought greater power than that allowed for him by the crown. He wanted more than the kingdom had to offer, and feverishly so. Many chose to follow him out of fear; after all, they could not be killed if they were useful to him.

One member of his court stood out, however, and it was not because of his ridiculous choice of clothes or his love of pranks. His name was Ozymandias, and he was the court jester. He was perhaps the king’s most trusted court official, and the king would show his love for Ozymandias every day with the finest gifts, foods, and plenty of leniency when his pranks went too far. Ozymandias, however, did not find the same fondness with the king. Ozymandias was a practicing wizard, always searching for all the magic he could possibly learn, and he hoped that one day, he would be able to use his magic to help others, starting with the overthrowing of the king.

One day, the king discovered a way to live forever with more power than anyone could possibly imagine. The first step was to become a lich. The king entrusted Ozymandias to gather the supplies and help him obtain his goal. Ozymandias did so more than willingly, and prepared for the ritual.

When everything was set, he turned to Ozymandias and thanked him for his help. As the last words fell from his lips, Ozymandias thrust a dagger into the stomach of the king and bled him over the phylactery. With a few chants, Ozymandias achieved what the king had wanted for himself…”

You play as the nameless adventurer, who is simply looking to get into adventuring, but unfortunately, like many fantasy tabletop roleplaying game players, must learn the dynamic of a party that struggles to work together…

“Hi everyone!

My name is Steven Villanova and what you are about to play is a short visual novel I wrote for my senior exhibition. I wrote the whole story, script, and score, and designed all the characters, backgrounds, and cutscenes all during my senior year of college (and that was ON TOP of all my other classes as well as two shows with the school’s theatre and a 20 page thesis paper about visual novels–I know, I’m shocked they let me do it, too).

There are a lot of things that didn’t get into the game, and at this point, I don’t mind that they didn’t. I believe that as a piece of artwork itself, it evolved and grew into what it needed to be. I’m very proud of what I was able to accomplish here, and I’m so glad I have this opportunity to share it with you.

It’s an adaptation of the classic card game “Triple Triad” for an interactive in-menu experience. This game offers engaging and strategic gameplay, allowing players to challenge their own strategic planning skills. Players take turns placing cards on the board, trying to capture their opponent’s cards. A capture occurs when a card is placed next to an opponent’s card, and the number on the adjacent edge of the placed card is greater than the corresponding number on the edge of the opponent’s card. The captured card changes color to indicate that it now belongs to the player who made the capture.
