In Biomeinoes, you place randomly drawn domino tiles one by one on a grid — you only have a handful of tiles, and the game ends when you run out.

When connected, the edges of these tiles form regions of the game’s biomes in the isometric plane:

If you finish such a region of one biome (larger than 1×1), you earn 1 bonus tile for every unit of area it contains. You can also build up huge scores by completing larger and larger areas!

For most biomes, completing 4 whole regions unlocks another biome.

Description

Arena 9 is a strategy card game with misplaced PVP matches, where you can simulate recruiting soldiers, forming teams, defeating enemies, eliminating opponents, gaining higher rankings, advancing to more advanced matches, and finally winning the title of Universe Champion.
The game contains 32 hero cards, 61 soldier cards, 21 spell cards, 14 mask cards, and 24 bonus cards.
All game battle data comes from real players, and there are no “dummies” or “AI” in the game. You’ll be matched with other players who have recently completed the same difficulty and received the same resources, ensuring that you don’t have to spend a lot of time waiting while playing smoothly. At the same time, after your match is completed, your data will also be acquired and played by other players, and the elimination data of the game is also the real battle data of history.
Since the game is made by myself, the game does not contain special effects, and art resources are not abundant.

Rules of the Game

1. Your character: You play as a contestant from a different universe in the game;
2. Choose a hero: Choose one of the 7 random heroes as the commander and the other as the adjutant;
3. Hero Skills: Commander comes with two skills, Adjutant comes with one skill, which can help strengthen your clan;
4. Soldier Card: You need to place the soldier card in the soldier’s position to fight;
5. Mask Cards: Masks can give your soldiers extra skill effects;
6. Spell Cards: Spells can directly strengthen your soldiers, or obtain additional resources;
7. Enemies: Each turn will assign you an enemy, and soldiers on both sides will fight the enemy;
8. Hero Health: Hero Health will be lost when fighting enemies, and will be eliminated when health is reduced to 0, and the later the elimination ranking;
9. Promotion: If you rank higher in the competition, you can advance to a more advanced tournament, the highest level of the competition is the Cosmic Finals;
10. “Prime” is a board game inspired by chess and checkers. In the game, two opponents face off: the whites and the blacks. The game is played on a 64-square board, similar to that of chess.

The pieces are marked with a number, which is added each time to the captured piece’s number or increased by 1 or 2 units when the piece is promoted (reaching the opposite side of the board).

Pieces with the number 1 are pawns and can move forward by only one square. Pieces with even numbers can move forward and sideways by only one square, while pieces with odd numbers can move forward and diagonally forward by only one square. Pieces with prime numbers starting from 5 can move in any direction (vertical, horizontal, and diagonal), provided the path is clear.

Pawns, even-numbered pieces, and odd-numbered pieces are eligible for promotion when they reach the opposite side of the board: pawns and even-numbered pieces increase their value by one unit, while odd-numbered pieces increase by 2. After promotion, the direction of the piece is reversed.

“Prime” pieces do not have a fixed direction as they can move in any direction (like the queen in chess). However, after capturing, if they become “even” or “odd,” they also inherit the direction of the captured piece. In the event that a “Prime” captures another “Prime,” the direction will be favorable to the side of the board closest to it.

At the beginning of the game, each player has 8 pawns, 4 even-numbered pieces, 2 odd-numbered pieces, and 2 prime-numbered pieces. The player who captures all opponent pieces wins. The game can also end when both players possess only “Prime” pieces: in this case, the winner is determined by who has more pieces, and in case of a tie, the game is a draw or a tiebreaker.

Story:

On February 20, 2001, a virus outbreak occurred in a barangay (a Philippine term for a town/suburb/district) in Batangas City, Philippines. Its origin remains a mystery, yet many residents began suffering from sleep disorders, dry throat, fever, and frequent headaches.

Although standard medications alleviated these symptoms, they were unaffordable for some due to their living conditions.

As a result, the virus went untreated in certain cases, leading to violent behavior and self-harm. Reports indicate that affected individuals lacked recollection of these violent acts and are also experiencing visual and auditory schizophrenic episodes.

This is a VHS-style found footage, analog, psychological horror game about the experience of one of the extreme cases of the virus that was left untreated.

Match motes to inflict damage, heal, focus yourself, and even make money. Use items and special moves to your advantage and inflict great damage on your foes. You will need to pay attention to your opponent’s forecasted attacks to make sure your strategy is perfectly suited to handling whatever they throw at you.

Get to know monsters

Get to know nine dateable monsters. Who will you click with? From a sweet but imposing minotaur, to a caring but fierce dragon, there’s a beasty for everyone. Starting as strangers, you will get to know the inhabitants of the dungeon and eventually get to take them on rendezvous where your relationship can develop into something more.

Manage the dungeon

Use your time wisely. Who will you train and spend time with each day? Each day you will be able to take a certain number of actions. Is it better to spread your time across all the dungeon’s inhabitants, or maximise your time with your favourite few? Should you focus on your own combat potential, or on the good of the many?

Defeat the Forces of Light

The Forces of Light come knocking at the dungeon’s doors, and they won’t be leaving until they burn it down. You must make sure the dungeon is prepared to fight back when the pesky paladins of light come to visit. Without your help, the dungeon stands no chance.

Особенности игры

Настраиваемый путь противников.

Жуки не идут по заготовленным дорожкам.
У каждого есть свой интеллект и они постоянно анализируют ситуацию и выбирают движение в определённом направлении.
В конечном итоге все жуки движутся к игроку либо к ядру, но существуют приманки.
С помощью них можно направлять противников в какую-то стороны или заманывать в смертельные зоны.

Проработанная механика питательных веществ

Просто посадки семян и ожидания недостаточно для хороших растений.
В игре существует система обмена питательными веществами.
Например, картошка выделяет фермент “Картофаний”, который в большом количестве замедляет рост картошки.
Таким образом, через некоторое время корнеплоды нужно будет переместить на другую грядку или посадить другие растения, чтобы восстановить баланс веществ.

Защита башнями + Фермерство
